    Born in 1906 Zino Davidoff was destined to become one of the greatest cigar ambassadors as well as premium manufacturers of the 20th century.  Born in Ukraine, at the age of five Zino and family moved to Geneva, Switzerland where they opened a tobacco shop.  As a young man Zino became very involved in the family business traveling to Cuba where he learned much about growing, and blending tobaccos.  He  also invented the desk top humidor for the purpose of customers being able to buy more product to store at home.  In 1967 the Davidoff brand was born, until then the shop in Switzerland only sold Cuban cigars.  Davidoff cigars were exclusively made in Cuba until 1991, when Zino moved all the production to Dominican Republic.  Zino cigars are beautifully balanced, extremely smooth, and complex.  The Zino brand is a wonderful complement to the Davidoff family portfolio of cigars.
