      Montecristo New York was originally crafted to support the New York Tobacconist Association in their efforts to amend tobacco legislation.  These cigars became so popular with consumers that Altadis decided to make the line part of it's ongoing production, and to this day the cigars are among the best sellers in the Montecristo portfolio.  Soft box pressed format offers a creamy smooth and complex smoking experience with tremendous flavor brought on by Dominican filler tobaccos using Nicaraguan binder and very tasty Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
